Checking In With US-CIS...

To make a long story short, the girls and I will be driving to Omaha tomorrow, and spending a chunk of the morning at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security building, trying to find out what's going on with our fingerprints/FDL. We had our fingerprints taken on February 19, and we were told to expect our FDL within 30 days. Not so much. Plus the number the US-CIS assigned to our I-600A case evidently doesn't exist, or isn't in their system or something. Since they don't have a record of our case number, we can't just check into the status of our case via phone or internet, we have to appear in person before an official. Alrighty, then...that's what we'll do! I've already loaded up a bag with granola bars, fruit snacks, coloring books and crayons, princess sippies, and extra undies (praying that we don't need those!!) Two hours there, two hours back.

I only hope that we can get some answers...I'll keep you posted!

Go mama! Way to work like it depends on you - we're praying like it depends on God!

Big hugs,
