It was this past Wednesday, Nathan's last day of school, and all four of us were in the car, heading out to celebrate at a local kid-friendly restaurant when...THE CALL CAME!!! But, we didn't know it was the call at first. We hadn't connected with our case worker yet in the month of May, so I didn't think anything of it when I saw her number pop up, especially because there are currently (at least) 8 families in front of us waiting for a baby boy...
But, after a bit of light conversation, the words we had been waiting to hear...I have a little boy who I'd like to talk to you about. I think I said, "REALLY?!?," about 8 or 10 times. And our case worker proceeded to tell us this baby boy's story.
I won't share much about his story here, but I can tell you that he is 2-months old, and ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!! WHAT A DOLL!!!
We have been working on all of the paperwork needed to accept a referral, and hope to have it all completed and sent off next week sometime. AGCI is telling us to plan on 3-5 weeks after that for a court date. So...there you have it!!!
We are BEYOND EXCITED and can't wait to introduce the newest little LeFeber to you all in His time!!!

That is wonderful news! Congratulations. We just got our referral 2 1/2 weeks ago for our now 5 week old baby boy. Our little guys are hanging at HH together!!!!

YAY!!! So are you saying you'll be going to Ethiopia the end of June or early July? How long between trips for the court date and bringing the lad home?
