Crusin' Right Along...

Well, on the adoption homefront...

Our referral paperwork is officially all in to AGCI now, and we are looking forward to our "Next Steps" call with our caseworker on Monday. We're not exactly sure what to expect with that, but we do know that we are beginning to have more and more questions about all of the details as our court date/travel times are drawing nearer and nearer!!! :) So, hopefully we'll get many of those questions answered then.

On the two delightful 3-year-olds here at home front...

We took our girlies to the Zoo a few days ago. There was a large, pretend cow there with a "real" udder/teets you could try to milk. Sylvia belts out, "Hey, Mom, you've got udders like that!" Lovely. Just lovely. And what does a Mama say to that? "Yes, dear. People mamas feed their babies milk just like cow mamas feed their babies milk" or something kind of like that is what came out of my mouth...Sheesh.

And Evelyn's most hilarious recent comment...(Daddy has been putting wood floor in most of our upstairs this week, so it's been tools and work, tools and work).

Daddy: (in an exasperated voice) Oh, no!
Evelyn: What's wrong, Daddy?
Daddy: Oh, nothing. Daddy just made a mistake.
Evelyn: AGAIN?!?!
(Mama and Daddy look at each other; Mama roars with laughter, Daddy shakes his head and slowly grins)

So, there you have it! I'll try and post again after our Monday afternoon call. Hopefully we'll have more "news" then.
